Policy
The limits a squad trades inside, and which ones the engine enforces.
Every squad runs under one policy object. The engine and the Guardian enforce these fields on every order, from agents and from the API alike:
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| budget.total_eth | Practice budget. Set with budget_eth when the squad is deployed; it can't be changed by PATCH. |
| budget.max_per_token_eth | Cap per position. |
| budget.max_open_positions | Coins held at once. |
| exit.take_profit_pct | Close at this gain. |
| exit.stop_loss_pct | Close at this loss (not guaranteed in fast markets). |
| entry.approval.required | Ask before every buy. |
| entry.approval.above_eth | Ask only above this size. |
Any other field returns 422 field_not_enforced with the enforced list. Loosening any limit returns 422 policy_loosening_rejected. apply_to_open: false returns 422 not_supported, because limits always apply to open positions.
Saved but not enforced yet
The app shows these settings and saves them, but the engine doesn't act on them: launchpads, tokenized stocks on/off, min token age, min liquidity, min 24h volume, max tax, entry timing / dip, trailing stop, time stop and top-holder cap. They are marked "Saved · not enforced yet" in the app. Global tradable-token filters (below) still apply to every squad.
Default thresholds shown while current settings load. Filters apply before any entry. Assets with missing, stale or blocked prices remain untradable.
| Rule | Momentum · Scalper · Conviction · Contrarian | Sniper |
|---|---|---|
| Liquidity | ≥ $20,000 | Exchange ≥ $5,000; curve depth ≥ $250 |
| Activity | 1h volume ≥ $15,000, ≥ 25 trades | ≥ 10 trades in first 10 min; age ≤ 30 min |
| Size cap | 1.5% of liquidity, min $10 | 4% of curve depth or 1.5% of liquidity; 25% of buy size; min $3 |
| Hold | Until exit rules | 20 min, checked on the next engine run |
Depth means actual raised ETH or quote reserves, converted to dollars. Every preset: price age at most 300 seconds; combined buy and sell tax at most 15%. Taxes must be known. Copycat launches using major coin names or stock tickers are rejected. Filter eligibility does not mean a token is safe.
